GeoCet Director of Ecological Programs Attends Noise Reduction Technologies Workshop
Mary Jo Barkaszi attended the Noise Reduction Technologies Worshop in Burlington, MA on June 4th & 5th, 2007. The workshop was sponsored by the International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (OGP) through the Joint Industry Projects (JIP). This workshop brought together an international group of scientists, industry professionals, and product developers to discuss existing and new technologies for reducing acoustic footprints from a wide range of O&G operations. The group worked together to develop matrices of known information and technologies for each noise category and the proceedings will be available to the public.
